ABOUT US
The Wet Whistles began when four Brisbane pub singers were sharing a few drinks, playing music and someone uttered those five famous words heard at every kick-ons...
"We should start a band!"
Now, two years and countless beers later, their stomp and holler country shows have become synonymous with big nights and sore heads across Australia.
Guitarists Caillin Malley and Nick Trovas, alongside brothers Jordan Hill and Jake Hill on percussion and banjo, win over new fans with their unique sound.
Beyond the party atmosphere, all four members share lead vocal duties, with their rich four-part harmonies at the heart of the signature Wet Whistles sound.
The band has built a loyal following through a growing catalogue of original music, alongside a mix of offbeat covers. Their songs are instantly recognisable and invite crowds to sing along from the first note.
The Whistles have burst onto the Australian country scene in impressive fashion, sharing stages with notable names including Shannon Noll, Redferrin, Chase Rice and James Johnston.
Their touring schedule already includes appearances at CMC Rocks, Gympie Music Muster, Tamworth Country Music Festival and Howlin' Country, along with rodeos and B&S balls across rural Australia.
In 2025, the band joined the Spotify Fresh Country Tour alongside Lane Pittman, Dylan Wright and Max Jackson, before being invited to support Shane Smith & The Saints on their first ever Australian tour, playing sold-out shows across three cities.
Still only in their third year, The Wet Whistles are gearing up for 2026 to be their biggest and loudest year yet.
Stay tuned.
